Absolute Value (Modulus of a Real Number)

Definition: If x ∈ R, then its absolute value, denoted by |x|, is defined as follows :
|x| ={x, if x ≥ 0, and x, if x ≤ 0,

If a = b then |a| =|b|

Exp 2=2 then |2| = |2|

But not necessary |a| =|b| then a = b
|-2| = |2| then -2 ≠ 2
